Saturday of Service

The SIROW Community Day of Service focuses on activities that will benefit a group within the community. 

 

We have organized donation efforts for the High School girls “Scots Lodge” in partnership with the Women’s Club of Lake Arrowhead. 25% of the 960 Rim High School’s female and male students lack basic clothing and daily living items.  Scots Lodge is a dedicated room at Rim High where students in need can “shop” at no cost for clothes and food in safety and privacy.   And our members have donated “new or gently used” items for the girls (age appropriate).  

If anyone is interesting in helping Scots Lodge, checks can be made out to RHSPTA and volunteers are always welcomed.

We are part of the Adopt-A-Trail program working with ALA to help clean up the lake walking trail. 

​

We help with the delivery of Thesauruses and Dictionaries to the local schools.
